Roman flagrum. This piece was designed and manufactured as a historically similar but relatively safe replica based on illustrations and archaeological finds from the Roman Empire.
Three strands of solid 5mm natural leather in vintage brown, each with three 20mm medium-hard rubber balls. Total length approx. 76cm/30", including a 17cm/7" handle made of custom-dyed bamboo wood, finished with the finest lacquer and finished with a stainless steel and nickel-plated brass end.
