Roman flagrum. This piece was designed and manufactured as a historically similar but relatively safe replica based on illustrations and archaeological finds from the Roman Empire period.
3 strands of solid 5mm natural leather in vintage brown, each with 3 medium-hard rubber balls measuring 20mm. Total length approx. 66cm/26", of which approx. 17cm/7" is a handle made of individually stained bamboo wood, finished with the finest lacquer and with stainless steel and nickel-plated brass fittings.
